Shizuo made two sets of woodblock prints with flower and bird subjects in the mid-1900s. Print size differed in the two sets (i.e., 125 x 190 mm versus 300 x 450 mm) but otherwise the prints were very similar. Both flowers and birds were drawn in a true-to-life way and contrasting color was added to the background, often in horizontal bands. This gallery includes the eight prints (1-8) in the smaller-sized set and the twenty-two prints (9-30) in the larger-sized set.
